UPAYA MENGOPTIMALKAN MATERI MATRIKS KELAS XII IPA.3 SMAN PALEMBANG MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA “ONLINE SCHOOLOGY”


                                                                                                      Abstract

Classroom action research aims to increase student activity on the matrix material in class XII IPA.3 SMAN 15 Palembang schoology through online media. Implemented in half ghazal TP 2013/2014 with a sample of 43 students. Activity observed was the presence of students, ask questions, respond or answer questions or fill out a brief reflection, provide solutions or fill sheet with an explanation of structured reflection on schoology forum. This study is successful if the number of students who received active or very active category reached 70 % performed by using descriptive method that makes the description, or a description of the facts through action research cycle phases include planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data obtained in the first cycle, students are very active in the new category to 1.2, category 50% active and less active 48.8 After the second cycle continued reflection. In this second cycle, an increase in the activity of students in a category is very active at 6.7, due to the increased quality of the discussion, because many students are already bold and willing to provide feedback or ask questions, and even was able to provide a solution. Learning outcomes in the second cycle, the number of students who are in the category of active and very active category reached an average of 72.1% has been passed through a set of success criteria at baseline is 70%. From the test results also showed that 86% of students have achieved mastery Minimum Criteria.
So it can be concluded that the use of online media students schoology can increase the activity of the matrix material in class XII IPA.3 SMAN 15 Palembang. It is recommended that teachers can use online media schoology in learning mathematics, students in order to familiarize themselves with a variety of media in order to be motivated and not boring. Schools are expected to develop online media schoology good in mathematics and other subjects.
